only thing is,I"m getting some hum? never had that before in these amps.I Put my Pirahna ans GFX-1 preamp in the return effects loop and works fine with no hum.think it could be the preamp tubes?

@dewycatt2112 It could be.. It is could to have extra tubes so you change out one at a time to determine if it is the tubes. Make sure the bias is good on the power tubes.

Ok thanks". Just got back now. I picked up a 50 watter for $475.Brand spank"n new condition!.I"ve had 100 watters and if you didnt know:,you would never tell the difference.this thing is LOUD!. I"m back to Marshall again for good! Later"..

@dewycatt2112 Very nice.. The 50 watt is plenty and about 95% as loud as the 100 watt. I just bought a Marshall Vintage Modern Combo 50 watt and it sounds awesome..

Thanks man! just changed tubes and dead quiet now!. the one tube in the (is that the phase tube?) was rattling bad when I tapped it.I had a couple good old ECC83"s from old marshall 800"s I had years ago that I put in. Later"
