Horse slaughter is still in the United States, against common belief, and is even more frequent in Great Britain. This is not something that we can just push aside, it is a growing problem.
*Oh, and because I know someone will say it, I am against all slaughter, but horse slaughter is the most vulnerable.

How can anyone support this hideous act of killing and tripping horses U are barbeckric sick and not worth being a human.Please stop this don't let Mexicans in the USA or Candians that support this act. Do not let the export of horses out of the US.All of U are stupid asses! I don't have the words to describe these so called people who allow this to go own.

A friend of mine heartbreakingly had her horse stolen from it's paddock and shipped to a known slaughter auction miles away - she tracked her down to there, but unfortunately after they had already shipped to canada. She lost her to slaughter. The people at the auction did nothing to check to ensure the horse was owned by who they said. Nor did they even care. That has to stop. If horses are going to be utilized this way, it MUST be humane and not in this form or fashion. It disgusts me.

I LOVE horses and of course all animals and its just sick that people would be so inhumane to any animal. I understand some are used for meat but why kill them inhumanely is what i dont get, killing them humane would be more acceptable. But putting kittens in microwaves or dogs in garbage bags and being dragged behind a truck just for the fun to see how they react is just stupid nonsense. It would be nice if animal abuse STOPPED everywhere but it wont because somone somwhere will =/
