No, Children are not off limits, They sure werent off limits when it came to the Clinton's. It doesnt matter because McCain and Palin are simply the opponent. the republicans did not go after Chelsey Clinton, Saturday Night Live and other media outlets did. Talk radio and what little conservative TV media there was, never said much about her. Also, they never made John Kerry's kids an issue even though they were an active part of the campaign, making speeches all across the county. You liberals like to tell your self that the Republicans make all the personal attacks but we could never compare to you.

If Liberals can't see that the Palin's daughter issue is helping solidify the Conservative vote for John McCain, they are in for quite the surprise in November.

If the media wants Obama elected, they need to drop the daughter thing now because anyone voting for McCain is not going the change their vote because of it, they are more excited than ever.

I watch/listen to right AND left politics, and the right is as excited now as the left was about Obama getting the nomination.

In fact what I am seeing is that while conservatives may not be celebrating the pregnancy announcement they are pleased with how the Palin's are handling it and pissed at how the liberal media is hammering it.

It's like the old saying "I can talk bad about my family/friends but you can't" People beating up Palin for this is only going to strengthen the republican and conservative resolve to both stand behind her and get out the vote in BIG numbers.
