I do agree with comments, sounds to have better graphics but music is so awesome on C64!

@teletubbles the c64 version plays and sounds, in my view, better.

Okay the graphics look nice, but the c64 game was programmed in less than 2 months and this version came out years after. Also the c64 Hubbard tune is unsurpassed. The only thing hating about the c64 version is the lack of all the levels!

wow, this game takes me back. all i truly remember is the stuff up to the giant commander guy. loved lobbing grenades :D
and the console had better animation and gun sounds.

My ears are fine. I was talking about having gunfire sound effects throughout the game, as it should be, not just at the end of some area. It's obvious, they traded some basic sound effects in the game in order to have impressive music. It's just my opinion, but I don't like the trade-off, no matter which system it's done on.

I think the console versions are better than these computer versions.I like the Atari 7800 version.
