I don't understand the people who have a problem with this Bane. Did you all miss the part where Nolan's movies aren't exactly like the comics?

Tom Hardy is a great actor as well, his physical presence on screen was incredible. Have you seen the facial expressions he could make with just his eyes? Bane wasn't a complete pussy, he came off as more intimidating than the Joker for the majority of the movie. The last 10 minutes of him on screen was lame, I would rather him not be working for Talia, but he was a great villain overall.

Oh and are you gonna tell me you actually liked the Bane from the old movies (Batman Returns wasn't it?)

Did you like everything about the old movies? Mr Freeze was fantastic wasn't he?

can't help the fact that you're kinda hating on everything about the Nolan movies, that's why I played that card..

Nobody (atleast I didn't) said these movies are perfect and everyone loves everything about the movies but that's fine.. The old ones weren't close to perfect either.

Sure, villains like Killer Croc, Clayface and Manbat can't be as cool as the comicversions but does that matter? Were they in the original movies? Who says they'll be in the new ones?

The "you hate everything" card? How original.

A problem with modernization is that Gotham is now a modernized NYC.

Gotham is not NYC and that's one of the things that makes it cool unlike the boring grey cities in every movie.

Even the newer, more modern comics do this better.

A problem with a realistic batman is how generic it becomes,

knowing that a lot of cool/unrealistic villains (Killer Croc/Clayface/ManBat) can't exist in Nolan's universe without being watered down.

It's not that it's different, it's that the differences suck.

At least the Joker was played by a great actor and added a psychotic feel to his role.

Bane was just a complete pussy.

Did you miss the part where Bane almost always has a well.. pretty stupid mask on? And I happened to like his voice, and the mask...

Guess you also didn't know that comics tend to not stay true to their origins. All those Batman comics and cartoons are good examples already.. They basically do what the movies did too, new takes on it...

But whatever, how would you know, right?

You clearly don't like it.. That doesn't mean it's bad what Nolan did, it just means that your opinion is different than most other Batman fans since most fans just love the Nolan movies.

He didn't change basically everything though, but how would you know, you're whining about stuff you probably know nothing about cuz you're just hating on everything.

You say Batman and a modernized world don't fit together. Well most Batman fans think they do fit.

    I don't get it either.

The Dark Knight: Joker has a different voice, look, origin, motives, and personality. Reaction? Everyone loves him.

Dark Knight Rises: Bane has a different voice, look, origin, motives, yet his character stays true to the comics. Reaction? He's a terrible Bane.

    I don't get it!
