We put a strong emphasis on topology in this series
Part 1: Setting up our reference image and discussing topology and edgeloops
Part 2: Setting up the basic muscle structure of the face with edgeloops
Part 3: Modeling the mouth
Part 4: Modeling the nose
Part 5: Modeling the eyes
Part 6: Making the skull
Part 7: Filling in the gaps between the vertices (this is when it actually starts looking like a face)
Part 8: Finalizing the mesh and making an eye texture

  • nice tutorial, it was just what I needed :)

  • your lines (edges) are acting in a different way to mine yours are sticking to your mesh even after adding your subserf :S and your wireframe looked uncluttered :P maybe i just missed something, i'll improvise to get it right ha
