That costume is very distracting to me but very good dancing. I have never seen a ballet with dialogue though..

@MMalczewska I agree 100 percent, about what you said. Contemporary really does mean trained studio dancer, and a well trained studio dancer does it all. I'm sure Kayla and jeanine can both tap as well as do pointe as shown here by Kayla.

Most of what SYTYCD classifies as "contemporary" really means well rounded, studio dancer. They just aren't shown that way. Basically, I'd be more surprised if she didn't do pointe. I bet you anything that Jeanine has pointe training too. They just aren't to the level of Melissa.
