@knowatimean It didnt make me cry. I cried out my last tears when my own father passed away. But I can relate to the kid. Losing your father is no easy thing, because the real superhero in your life is gone.

This song was written for a great marathoner who was paralyzed in an auto accident and who later became one of the world's first wheelchair marathoners. He called himself "The Man in Motion". St. Elmo's Fire is an appropriate analogy for this man (I believe his last name was Hansen) Its a phenomena which mainly occurs on the high seas during a storm. St. Elmo's Fire is static electricity which causes things to glow (masts, buoys etc) The Man in Motion was, and still is static electricity.

this was my fathers favorite song...he died 9 days after my 6th bithday...its been 5 years....i miss him so much....i would do anything just to see him again.....
