  • @knowatimean It didnt make me cry. I cried out my last tears when my own father passed away. But I can relate to the kid. Losing your father is no easy thing, because the real superhero in your life is gone.

  • @ELMARB1996 yes u do don't lie...u know his story made u cry.

  • get lost with you sad stories about this was my father's favorite song.... I DON'T CARE!

  • I may be a 90's kid but i love 80's music like this!! One of my favourite songs of all time!

  • This song was written for a great marathoner who was paralyzed in an auto accident and who later became one of the world's first wheelchair marathoners. He called himself "The Man in Motion". St. Elmo's Fire is an appropriate analogy for this man (I believe his last name was Hansen) Its a phenomena which mainly occurs on the high seas during a storm. St. Elmo's Fire is static electricity which causes things to glow (masts, buoys etc) The Man in Motion was, and still is static electricity.

  • Best song of all time!Simply brilliant! Hear a million times and I never have enough!

  • gives you a good life boost =) songs like this are true example that music was so mutch better before.
