I'm utterly confused by this. If you leave the original window shut, it too will keep out pollen unless it has a hole in it. There seems no point to open the outside window and then shut the inside one other than to prove the obvious, having the inside window keeps pollen from coming into the room... that's cos it's acting like any closed window, right? ANd a hurricane lifts up cars and throws them at houses. Hitting the window does not make it hurricane proof.
