Amiga Longplay [269] James Pond - Underwater Agent

I tried using a lot of versions of this game but each one had bugs or things that happened due to copyright. There are 2 versions of level 11. They both look the same but the item locations are different. If you want to complete the level you need the map with the mermaid in the top left corner of the room to be there. There is no way i found to always get the right map, you need to keep restarting. I used the "junkyard" level skip to keep getting to it, or you can use the secret warp on level 1.

There are quite a few level 12 maps. Again all look the same but item locations matter. Some maps will only end up letting you put 8 or 9 out of 10 into your home then glitch and not count the last ones. One wont have any items in the level at all. To complete you need the one i have in the longplay. Though this is just a guess, it could just be a random glitch which happens on all maps and you just have to hope that you can get all the items in your home. But i think im right and the placement of the items makes the difference of your game glitching or not.

Also in level 12 the Dr that follows you glitches and and produces clones of himself making the level VERY hard. I ended up having to use an invincibility cheat to get me through. However im sure i tried the level a bit ago and this didnt happen...but it happened on all my restarts when i was recording. Levels 1-10 are in the same game. level 11 and 12 i had to restart so points get reset!

What did all the extra items do? I remember the ray gun could shoot, and the goldfish bowl he could wear on his head enabled him to breathe when not underwater, but thats all I remember.

I remember sun glasses are used for seeing invisible monsters/jellyfish. Cant remember any more items...I know the dynamite is only used on one level to help you get 100%

I always said James Pond is the most underrated videogame character ever. It deserved to be more known, the character is awesome, and the games are wonderful games, little masterpieces on their own (I still rank Robocod as one of the top 5 2d Plataform games ever)

I really would like to meet Chris Sorrell someday.
