Ok i have a 2002 E430 and what exactly do I have to do to have the same sound as you ? remove the resonator and the mufflers ? so it will only be a straight like frome the engine to the end ?

@mercedesbenzs4302001 yessir. the exhaust piece from the resonators to the muffler is one big bolt-on. so you can get a straight pipe and replace that entire piece and it will sound just like mine maybe better because i didn't have a straight pipe when i did this i just had it off for awhile.

@TheMattiaCafa remove those mufflers or get a straight pipe and you will hear a drastic change in your exhaust note. :)

actually frankie, i just took off the muffler and resonator together, it's just one big bolt on and i had it off like that for a couple of months for fun but it is possible to remove both and just weld a straight pipe from there, should be relatively cheap to do.
