Evil has boundaries, one of them is next to "nasty"

If anyone doubts Slayer was punk influenced ....Listen to the entire "Hell Awaits" album. Slayer at their most "punkish" thanks to Suicidal

Evil may not have boundaries, but I think Slayer took the music started by Black Sabbath in the early 70's,taken over by Judas Priest during the 2nd half of the 70's .followed by Iron Maiden and Metallica into the 80's and pushed it to it's very boundaries by the mid 80's.People claim Slayer has punk influences?Well there was none here. This was pure anti-punk metal. From here there was no place to go but to implode and degenerate and perhaps that's why their music changed into something punkish(?)
If they had stayed this way I don't think they would be winning grammy awards like they are now...
80's Slayer was the ONLY Slayer.
