  • OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a Taylor and Boody at my PCUSA church. I love how well it is crafted. Every detail is well thought out. Ours is a bit smallar though. Did you get to play it???

  • @mattsplace85 Aren't they just the best? Or, at least for Baroque.

  • hey...when were u here reese?!?

  • I happen to live in the Town where Taylor & Boody is, I went to the open house they had for the Organ made for St. Michael's Episcopal church in Bon Air, Virginia. Then I was able to go in the next day and play the Organ.

  • @octavebasse8 Check out our new organ at St. Michael's Episcopal church in Bon Air, Virginia. It's a T&B with big swell reeds, celeste, and all the stuff you need to play Vierne, etc.! And that's just the beginning! (...and thanks for the compliments!)

  • Bach Trio Sonata!

  • @octavebasse8 That Posaune 16' on that T-B will rattle "yo draws"

  • I got to visit and play the H-W when iwas there for a conference. Its such a great instrument. Sounts like Le Madeleine.

  • @bongdrop Actually they're completely separate. They're both trackers so they can't be connected anyway. The organ in the Chancel is an eclectic all-purpose tracker by Hellmuth-Wolff, the organ in the gallery is a German-Baroque tracker built by the Taylor and Boody organ company. Two very, very different instruments.

  • I'm assuming that both the chancel organ and the gallery organ are connected from the chancel keyboard, as the echo division.

  • @octavebasse8

They really are. They have quite a reputation. Florida State University has a very large one as well.

  • That's me on the left on 0:32! I was sitting there and I have no clue what piece this is - how sad :(
