@billubatair for a start, the speed of the generator does not determine the output, the speed determines the frequency (along with the number of magnetic poles inside the generator). The output is determined by the input torque and the efficiency which can vary between generators but is usually stated on the operating charachteristics. any good generator can run continuously except for maintenence. I'm not overly sure about pricing but I'd expect a 10-20MW to be a LOT of money...

@Vince62965 yes, but you'll find that includes the startup inrush for a PC, it probably consumes about 3-400W once fully started up

There's definitely not much point using CFL's, or switching the lights off, if your house isn't insulated properly.
A filament bulb uses about 100w. A boiler uses about 27,000. And it's all going out the window without insulation.

134MW isn't all that large, 500-660MW is standard in the UK
134MW would power about 60,000 homes at low demand points (approx 2KW consumption each) and 27,000 homes at peak demand (5KW per house)

This generator is air/water cool, there are two water cooler installed on the top of generator witch cool the the surrounding air. On startup of overhauling when the generator covers are out for inspection & cleaning, at mid night heavy rain fall causing rainy water entered the generator through loosing bolts or sum uncovered (uncovered due to thunder) area.
