PARASOMNIA - Plagues - I've Been Through It Before

"I've Been Through It Before" This track was recorded in 1966 at the famed Fenton Recording Studios in Sparta Michigan and was written by Bill Malone (now a film director). Recently a copy of this record sold on Ebay for nearly $900.00. The Plagues was a Beatle-influenced band from Lansing Michigan who put out their own records. This recording was their swan song as the group disbanded shortly thereafter, a victim of the Draft. This track can be heard in Malone's new film "PARASOMNIA, Dreams of the Sleepwalker", a new horror fantasy film due out this year.

This group used to perform in the local Battle of the Bands that were held in various locations throughout Lansing. After the group disbanded, Jim Hosley and Van Decker performed in another local group called the Plain Brown Wrapper. For some reason I can't remember if Phil Nobach was in that group of not. These guys were very talented and it would have been nice to see what they could have done if they didn't break the group up.

Along with "You Haven't Seen My Love," this is one of THE BEST songs to EVER come out of Lansing, or Michigan for that matter. Great!
