In the wild world, size matters! The size of your camera lens, that is. In the BIG world of macro photography, nature-lovers prove that it's not just big mammals who can steal the scene with their awesome beauty. Dot-like creatures and little beings star in this week's nature feature.

Doc Ferds is on a quest to find the amazing in the seemingly ordinary. At first glance, flies may seem like pesky little critters that ought to be squashed. But through a macro lens, which magnifies size, its real beauty is revealed. What seems like a mere black speck to us is actually a blue-eyed, sparkly little thing! Watch up close as grasshoppers mate, witness a spider as it devours its prey, and feast on a spectacle of different colored arachnids that steal the show!
