How to memorize the Quran

once i was at the mosque and i went there to pray Jumaa (friday prayer) the imam came in with a stick and another guy who held him he looked like he didnt know to walk but there was so much nour on his face masha-Allah we all were leaning and sitting near the walls ,the imam talked and he had glasses on.. he said the people on the left and right come nearby sit like ur sitting in a saff (in row ) u are not old people u all are strong and young ...later on i came to know that the Imam was blind ...

i dont understand why he reciting just normal words by the way we usualy recitequran. Is it good?

Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said:

"For everything there is an adornment and a decoration. The adornment of the (Holy) Quran is a beautiful voice and tone.""During the recitation of the (Holy) Quran, express it in a good manner. And do not hurry in it like as reciting the poems and do not scatter it like the pebbles." But, install fear and alarm in your hard hearts through it. Your efforts should not be that you should recite and reach the end of the Ayat.

Quran has a different way of recitation that is thru tajweed etc,

this is normal way we say poems in Arabic its alright....

@Colorado2500 you need to follow what Jesus followed, he worshipped the Creator of the heavens and the Earth, who was Allaah. he (Jesus) was a human being who ate, drank and needed a Lord. Jesus is not a lord because he worshipped the Lord so how can he worship himself.

anyways just read the quran translation and you will know the truth, May the Creator of the heavens and the earth guide you to the straight path - Aaameen
