even dole's campaign advisers admitted that the ad harmed her campaign more than it did help it. but to be honest, dole was by the far the most useless senator so her defeat was already cut out for her. she just needed to sink to a lower level of calling her opponent 'godless.' religion = trump card of politics. glad to see we're leaving the george w. bush era of expressing your faith as a virtue to cover up your failures.
