Eric Roberts knows he's overacting and noone gets it. It's part of his character portrayal when the character is over the top. Pacino does this at times. Only the greats can get away with this. What it says is that their portrayal is GREATER than reality. F* Hollywood, ER is one of the most gifted actors ever. Maybe TOO GOOD, that is why they blacklisted him after Star 80. Rock on Mick and Eric. 20 years from now they will realize your genius...
