Here I am driving my car and turning the steering wheel with both arms (left hand and right stump). Of course a similar manipulation would also be possible using an iLimb, BeBionic or Otto Bock Michelangelo hand - but really, I found that a prosthetic arm tends to be in the way of fast maneuvers while driving. Using the stump works best, also wearing a fat gripper like the V2P Prehensor is great for driving - but it really must be a reliable tool to work with. Basically it works very well without prosthesis. - - - In the meantime, I got the Road Traffic Administration to allow me to drive unmodified cars. I do not need a steering wheel knob including indicator light remote control any more. That was hard work to get them to allow me to do that, I also had to drive the head of the disability section around Zurich one busy Friday afternoon but in the end they were convinced this would work safely.
