  • Thanks for your comment. I bought this snare new in 1994 and it suits any type of playing style. Its certainly more crisper and lighter than my Rogers Dynasonic snare without any compromise on volume. The Rogers kit itself was also bought new by me way back in 1977. The original bass pedal finally gave in after the first 18 years but the rest of the drums and hardware still sound and work like new. CHEERS...

  • A Friend once told me that to get the best sound of a pear piccolo snare is to tighten the snare wire tight so when you hit it it makes a good pop. Trust me i did it to my snare and it made a really good sound.
