if you ride st. anthony or glamis it is a must. you won't get far without one there

is there a BIG differance with the paddle tire ?
-
is that it..a roost and wheelies..so like it barely adds to your traction when trying to climb steep and long hills?

Not huge - but better. You can get around fine without one.

A paddle makes a nice roost and easier to do wheelies.

What time of year is this? Looks wet enough to not even have to have a paddle.

It was Thanksgiving weekend. You're right. I don't think you ever "have to have" a paddle out there but it helps when it's dry which is most of the year. Most people don't have them, though.
