@fox1145 This is MTV version of Mi-8, which has the small rotor on the left, just like Mi-17. Greets!

This is MiL Mi-8 MTV-1, widely used transport helo of former Yugoslavia.
It is deferent from standard Mi-8 by it's left side tail rotor, but it's still equiped with 2x TV3-117MT shaft-turbine engines...
nice vid...

My bad, I meant the main rotor spins conterclockwise on Mi-8M/-17, and clockwise on the older Mi-8T/P.
Cheers.

The Mi-8MTV and Mi-17 are the same thing. Mi-17 is the export designation while Mi-8M(TV) is used for Russian domestic sales. One can visually differ a Mi-8M (aka Mi-17) from a regular Mi-8T or P model by small details like the engine intakes being further back, and the tail rotor being on the port side of the tail boom - thus the tail rotor also spins counter-clockwise on the Mi-8M while running clockwise on the older T and P models.
Cheers from Estonia.

I think is a Mi-17 because have a small rotor on the other side. Mi-8 have a small rotor on the right side Mi-17 on the left side. This is different. Perhaps this film is the mirror image.
