@TheStarvingSpawn, Yep they did. Its a very sad thing for our society that so many people are so uneducated about science, yet have plenty of time for religion, horoscopes, the latest ring tones and fashion.
Its no wonder that we are completely in the grip of oil, coal, weapons companies and slave to our bank.
Electric cars, Solar power and sustainable living have ben completely viable for decades, vested interests don't like that.
Don't believe the lies in the media

@1BustedMyth DID NASA ever gone to the moon?

Wireless power transmission is pretty inefficient, isn't it?

How old is this wifi transferring power technology ow yeah pretty old its used with microwaves... you know if you use rays of solar panels and u want to alocate then to a specific point radiowavelenghts use voltages...

@kovalb, Everything starts with a dream, comes to life via passion and is perfected by blood sweet and tears.
Wright Brothers didn't know how to build an Aeroplane, Nasa didn't know how to get to the moon

@kovalb, please try and see the bigger long term picture and for crikey sake have a little vision.
Step back from the problem.
In a few years it will be dirt cheap, I sit at the lights for FAR more then 1min!
For all the busy people who make the excuses that corded is not convienient ect, the more on the run charging the better.
Hassel free charging= more uptake= lower priced EV's= cleaner air and less war for oil and civilian deaths.
Find a way to sell to hard case opponants, not you and me!

@1BustedMyth
So you would get maybe a minute of charge at level 2 providing maybe 0.2 miles of range at a cost of maybe $5k or more for every inductive EVSE installed. Sorry I don't want to pay for that. Much better to invest the money in corded EVSEs at places where people go to shop, eat, etc.

I would not pay extra over a plug in EVSE nor would I be willing to accept any loss of charging efficiency. I also like the flexibility a cord gives to charge at different spots around the garage, just in case. There is probably a market for it though.

And if you placed a few of these in the road at traffic lights around the city, powered by renewable power!!

@alexHG123 I wonder if its possible to have the individuals cells in the battery to have inductive/resonance charging properties so all the cells could charge at the same time. Maybe increasing the charging speed of the overall battery and possibly reduce heat.
