@whutegravy, this is a King cage, comes in titanium and as you can see, King has it dialed. You must have been reading the newspapers back in the 1990s with those figures you came up with. Go back to school.

PS - At this point in the cage's manufacturer, they take the two cross bars that have the holes for mounting to your bike and weld them to the bottom section. This also closes the loop, completing the water bottle cage.
