Hey y'all. got a question for ya. In the very beginning of the Cummins did ford make it and then sell it to dodge? i've herd this a few time and just wondering if this is true?

So far Ford made the best deisel motors from 1998 to 2000 Which were the 7.3 Power stroke, By farr those are better than all the motors that ford has been releasing the new ones might be quieter but thats all it is to it just quiet no power ! But now ford is releasing its fords with cummins which is gona be a killer machine ! Ford trucks have great Suspension but not so well motors & Dodge has Great Motors then again Whimpy suspension & A ford truck with a Cummins is a great Combo !

@Fordman903 ,Hey FORDMAN ! I have been doing some research, for the past year , I have heard from both Dodge and Ford owners of this ownership of the Cummins. This is supposely a rumor. What? A rumor I say. However, 2011 is near. And I am would like to know why does a associate of mines who is in sales here in Houston has failed to debate this so call rumor. Now I know that you can get a special edition of a medium or heavy duty Ford truck with a Cummins engine.
