The tune NameDropper was used quite a bit on sports highlights, especially by the NHL in its Stanley Cup videos. The 1983 and 1984 Stanley Cup vidoes use it prominently when showing higlights of the Edmonton Oilers.
And it was composed by NM stalwart Craig Everett Palmer...his other credits include "Ponderosa" (used for the mid-80s UA Theaters policy trailer), "Energy III" (used for the shorter version of said trailer, seen only in the West), and "New Horizons" (used for General Cinema's 80s policy trailer).
Indeed, it is from the Network Music library! That piece is entitled "Name-Dropper" and it's on the CD "Disco Inferno" (NM002), in case there are people interested in listening to the full version on the Killer Tracks website (NM's operations were dissolved into KT a while back).
Did WTMJ channel 4 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin air any of those NBC game shows shown in this video? I'm researching what network daytime TV shows aired in Milwaukee (CBS, NBC, ABC with game shows, soaps, and reruns of primetime TV) from June 1, 1973.

Go was obviously very short lived because I don't recall it on NBC's daytime lineup.
