You have the ability to learn‚ evaluate and use complex theoretical material to form logical rational conclusions. You use what you learn to develop strategies and structures to solve difficult problems‚ especially in dealing with the big picture.
Help? People don't want help from a rational problem solver. People are irrational. I get judged for trying to help. I don't need to care. Go to war, destroy yourselves...
@Craptron2000 i have the same experience. Its why I took communication classes as well. After them, I wasn't as adverse to small talk as every other intj claims they are because I could really see the value in toward building other conversations.
Thanks. I really appreciate the tips, eventhough I know it's really going to be difficult because I'm already used to people calling me a snobbish prick behind my back.
I've found nothing difficult except dealing with humans. It held my career back. I got a job in sales to force myself to acquire people skills. It was enormously stressful inventing small talk and pretending to care about them (customers), but it was a valuable training experience and has had great career benefits. People are your greatest resource and you won't be able to get anywhere without them even if you are a genius. It's worth allotting an hour or two per week to socialise and network.
