It's not that you suck. The guy who gets the most kills goes down a lot. It happened to me, too. In most other games, the guy getting more kills will be fine, because he'll finish off all the people trying to kill him, and won't draw extra attention from other enemies for his efforts. It's all just the aggro getting you killed.
