Money is energy i.e. you do something nice for someone, you get paid, then you can exchange the money for the things you need; money is neither gold nor paper, they are just the mediums of exchange of energy. It's when thieves or 'something for nothings' enter the system that it falls apart, especially when the thieves are in governments / controlling governments. Stopping people from earning a living / having the basic necessities of life is a form of murderous bullying.
