Here is a demo of the Zendrive overdrive pedal by Hermida Audio Technology. Great overdrive pedal, many say it gives you a Dumble in a Box. I used a Strat for this demo. Incredibly thick tone and sustain. Using a Line 6 UX2 studio with a Fender Bassman emulated amp in POD Farm, with a little delay and reverb for good measure. Let me know what you think of the Zendrive!

  • I have exactly the same start as you!

    Is it an american '81????

  • @rsrecordbreaker actually its a 2006 MIM 60th anniversary strat

  • People need to wake up and realize the Tanabe Dumkudo and Zenkudo kick ass on the Zendrive! I had the Zen did not like it, sounds sterile, sold it. The Dumkudo is an amazingly versatile pedal with the 3 mode switch, sell the ZEN, buy the Tanabe Dumkudo!!!

  • @otisray99 Haha, dude you are all about the Dumkudo! If its that good I may have to look into it.

  • Hey can you give me a brief explanation on how you recorded this?

  • @TedGuitar747 Guitar is running into the Zendrive, which is then plugged into a Line6 UX2 Studio, which is plugged into my Macbook. Pod Farm on the Macbook is used for amp modeling, and Garageband is used to record the audio. My camera is a Canon Vixia HF200. Then I put the audio and video together in Sony Vegas 8 in my PC.

  • where did you buy this at?

  • Sorry but the Zendrive with your set up at least sounds very sterile.

  • @satjathamma tubescreamer it's the biggtest example!

most famous pedal off all tiem and it colours your tone!

  • @dnnysrock most serious players don't like pedals that colours the tone,

if you have invested several tousands in a great amp and guitar and pickups to get your sound,

you really don't want anything to colour the sound, only add to it,

  • @satjathamma sounds like a dumble? who used that ? stevir ray Vaugh... robben ford nothing more to say. Robber ford uses this pedal with DR's and sound amazing live

  • The reason why a lot of players don't like it is because it shines at gig volumes in a band mix when playing live, rather than at low volumes noodling by yourself in a basement.

  • You should, I am blown away!
