I don't like them for 2 reasons;
1. I am more a visual personal. I prefer to see controls rather thanm hear them
but, more importantly...
2. The controls tends to pull the badly fitting earbud out of my ear.

Sounds okay but (and this is just me probably) I find the speech thing fiddly and would much prefer the last shuffle's layout. Also the earphones don't fit in my ears well and I can't really do much about that.
