LOL why do Khmer people, think people from Isaan are all Khmer. Its a misconception the Majority of Isaan is Lao ethnics. Im from Ubon Rachathani Thailand, and we are all Lao ethnics. About Mike Piromporn he has Lao blood, he openly admits it to the public hes proud to be Lao. One of his famous songs is" KUN LUNG GOR LAO" in this song he talks about no matter where he goes he feels at home... Running into his LAO brothers and sisters.

this is esan guy. esan people is once lao then esan people turned into thai due to the french divide the land. esan is now thai.
so when american people see esan people eat sticky rice or thom mak hoong, they will say its thai food. very misleading and confusing for foreigner.
the movie is thai and it is esanish theme. funny how thai actors tried to speak esan/lao cause they sound funny like said.
