The XBA 3 & XBA 4 is the best buy. The XBA 1 & XBA 2 lack mid range & bass. I tried all of them at the store (Yodobashi Camera Japan). I bought the XBA 4 instead but make sure you also change the equalizer on your ipod or mp3 player. Works great after I adjust the equalizer.

I need to get my handson the XBA-4 for sure. At the moment I own Sony MDR XB500, but I want something small and Im sure the price will be expensive

I own the xba4. They are larger than you think, they look a tad ridiculous.

Tired the XBA-4iP not impressive at all, it a lot of detail sound are missing and sound stage is horrible, The MDR-EX1000 is till better by a lot!.

@JogBird sba4 have more bass the shire owns the highs but i love the mids on 4sl get the 3sl or 4 much cheaper and honestly you can't see more difference
