9/11 was not a terrorist attack because Cheney was running live war games out of the White House bunker and had NORAD on "stand down" when he blurted to the "young man", "of course the order still stands", just as the unauthorized aircraft, that was being tracked and targeted by military radar, and was only ten miles out, was allowed to come in and hit the Pentagon, without NORAD interception, and without a single defensive missile launched or shot fired to defend the building.

@antonb000 Bush Jr staying at the school (after Andy Card whispers in the president's ear "Mr President, nation is under attack) clearly indicates he had no reason to leave, 9/11 was not a terrorist attack, no reason to sound a general alarm, probably was just only Cheney running his live war games at the World Trade Center and Pentagon, so just reach for book (My Pet Goat), relax, smile for the kids, everything is going down according to plan.

@rex2074 Obvious given the fact the US air force stood down for over 2 hours while those planes were in the Air, hijacked, and way off their planned trajectory, it is a pretty safe bet that someone in government was aware of what was going on. Normally, it takes about 8 minutes for a hijacked plane to be intercepted in US airspace.

Nice job Lance. I didn't know that Bush had put Cheney in charge by executive order months before. One more thing to make my heart weigh heavy about that day. Everytime I learn a new fact about 9/11 or events connected to it and it reveals premeditated actions like that I actually can feel a ping in my heart ... and then I feel numb and confused. I went to NYC after so I could just stand at Ground Zero ... just stand and tell everyone that perished that day that I am sorry.
