  • i baught the same pup tent from mills fleet farm yesterday for 18 dollors learned today im missing the tent stakes lol oh well can get em for a few bucks and walmart great video!

  • I should have watched the video before commenting. What you have there is two shelter halves.

  • I was in the Army from 1972-78 and I was just issued half a tent; it was called a shelter half

  • I bought my US Army tent from the Netherlands (1956 year of making)

It's a great tent for the summer, I used it on open air festivals a lot. I love it, but since I have discovered lightweight tarp camping, I don't use it anymore. but I will never give it away.

  • i have recently put up a video series on this shelter that shows many different ways it can be setup. to include it being setup in the back of my truck. it is a great shelter and used it quite a bit in the army. i love the canvas. it can be water proofed with the right spray sealant but wash thuroughly first. i use a third shelter half for the floor because it is the right shape. my wife and i plus 2 dogs have slept in mine. i use it as emergency shelter for bug out car kit.

  • Is there one that comes with the floor and dose it smell in there because I went camping one time and it smelled like really bad

  • @ZZsnarlyPWN We set these up in basic and used our ponchos to line the tent. It takes two people to put this thing together because each person carries half of the tent, so then we use both ponchos (one over the tent to add to the waterproofing and one on the ground with a water runway, if you're on an incline).

  • The tent stakes are orange so you can find them on the ground in the woods if you lose one. Green? Not so much. I used these tents multiple times while in the military. Works great but is not fully waterproof.

  • @mrkeenway88 yes i do bitch

  • LOL warren you sound so young
