"For both Christian and Muslim youth the Arab Spring fostered hopes for greater democracy and respect for human rights. Recently, however, increasing sectarian violence and a rise in fundamentalist voices calling to establish Egypt as an Islamic state are dimming these hopes and isolating Christians. This new political shift combined with Islamist militant violence, opens a dark new chapter on Egypt's post revolution future. Should Egypt become a full-fledged religious state governed by Shar'ia law, Egyptian Christians would confront a stark choice: submission to ever-greater religious persecution or emigration. The question facing the world's political leaders, however, is another: with Egyptian Christians numbering eight million, the risk of aggression begetting aggression could engender a spiral of sectarian violence destabilizing Egypt and the whole of the Middle East. For Christians in the Middle East, the prophecy of Jesus Christ is lived out every day: 'If anyone wants to follow me, let him take up his Cross'. And this Cross is heavy, because it touches not only the individuals, but entire families."Aid to the Church in Need Australia:http://www.aidtochurch.org/Aid to the Church in Need Irlanda:http://www.acnirl.org/Aid to the Church in Need United Stateswww.churchinneed.orgAid to the Church in Need Great Britainwww.acnuk.org/

  • @saddako214 And God bless you, germanus.

  • @MontChevalier Mindanao is far from the civilization I grew up to- it's like some other country that's just considered a part of ours. I grew up like that. since I was born there has already been a lot of violence there, the news always showing the soldiers wounded, media kidnapping, etc. I think the rebels want to show the government something that it doesn't see, and that they exist. BTW Mindanao is huge, and not all provinces there have rebellious forces. God bless them all.

  • @saddako214 It still doesn't mean it doesn't concern me. While Catholicism is huge, it's our brothers and sisters who are being murdered. It's unacceptable.

  • @MontChevalier *they were letting Muslims blow up their homes, while at the same time, giving them positions in their military.- that is in Mindanao, a large island part of the archipelago. I am Filipino, and I don't think there is going to be a threat to the catholic church, for the catholic population is huge, the government will even have to hear out the church's view on some political issues.

  • @eraser695 The problem with Revolution is that an Islamic Revolution and a Christian Revolution are both purely different. A Muslims Revolutionary will go out and kill, while a Christian Revolutionary is in contradiction of his own beliefs. Revolution means rebellion and God hates rebellion. Read 1 & 2 Samuels of Old Testament. There are several times in which we Christians can take up arms. I can explain with greater detail on PMs. Recommend you read St. Augustine's The City of God.

  • @MontChevalier I think you just read my mind. I have one SUGGESTION...

If the Communist and Marxists bring a revolution to the Europe.. Why can't We Bring a Christian Revolution...? Check the Islamic Revolution In Pakistan and Iran. Similarly the Whole Arab is bringing an Islamic Revolution... What you think?

You copied my thoughts I was also pressing on and in favour an Under Developed Extreme Catholic State. Poverty teaches how to Love and Care. Please Come on PMs.

  • @MontChevalier European Union, you are absolutely right they are evil after the Marxist and Nazi regiments. In the French Revolution alone, more than 1 million of French Catholic Priest were martyred, same was happened to the Papal States in the Unification of Italy and Spanish Revolution.. Now the French government has also banned the Nuns and Priests to wear Crucifixes as according to them it is offensive to Muslim (What the Fuck?). Every Euro Beach has a Nudist Spot... Fuck EU.

  • @eraser695 I was suggesting someplace in the American Continent. We can't trust the US, cause they're just like the Philippines, except while they're stronger, they're just idiotic. And Protestants. So they hate us. And Canada is a Gay man's paradise. We can't go there. I was thinking along the lines of a country in Central or Southern America. Some are somewhat underdeveloped, but they're extremely Catholic.

  • @eraser695 Malta and Venice are both a part of the European Union. And the European Union has been utterly evil. Especially to us Catholics. They're one of the main sources for the spread of atheism. The Philippines is a big maybe....but it's still somewhat too weak to make a proper defense. Last I heard, they were letting Muslims blow up their homes, while at the same time, giving them positions in their military. Your ideas aren't wrong, but at least you're giving ideas.

  • @MontChevalier What about Philippines, Malta, Venice?
