She sufferes from mental illness Bi Polar. Its so sad how illness ruins someones life. Her mother is also mentally unbalanced.

A amazing talent who even today is missed. She could do drama, she was a great comic actress, and was a great singer. I had a big time crush on her when I was a kid. Man what a talent she was.

She acted in the television drama "Family," for which won she two Emmy Awards, and started a singing career. She starred in several films over the next decade but an on-going battle with bipolar disorder harmed her productivity. She retired from acting in the late 1990s. She is Currently teaching acting at a private school in Los Angeles

I to had a huge crush on Kristy as a kid (I am 1 year her junior) but who is counting? I am interested in how she is going now....married?.....kids?......health? what a beauty :-).
