Punk may have okay drums, but it doesn't have unbeatable drums. Listen to the part of linkin park's faint where the drums just come in, and i don't care if they have good drums,if the singer can't hold your attention,then it just sounds terrible.

green day's old stuff IS punk. and lots of punk has good solos. Sea of blood by the exploited, you cant bring me down by suicidal tendencies, go mental by the ramones, etc.

i like both classic rock and punk. Jimi is a guitar legend but the drums in punk music are unbeatable

yes lazy morons. and those 16, 17 year olds are probably also referred to as columbine kids, or the trench coat mafia. and if you haven't noticed, nothing about Rage is even close to punk, the vocals are rap, the guitar is good, and they actually have the ability to SING instead of cough their way through the songs. and if they don't sell more than 400 records, then they suck, face it.
