Here's a carbine-only stage I ran at the 3-Gun match with Iain Harrison. I've long been a believer in running video on yourself so you can watch it later and look for mistakes. Here, I've got through and appended some notes as subtitles throughout the video.

Thanks again to Crimson Trace and the Tri-County Gun Glub near Portland, OR. And thanks to Iain Harrison, a great shooter and great person.

  • Are you using a pistol caliber carbine? Doesnt that go against your beliefs?

  • @gfpd2722 If you listened closely enough to the podcast, I said a pistol caliber carbine was a terrible idea as a defensive gun. I stand by that. But I also said I understood how beneficial it was for training and stuff like this, because you can shoot so cheaply compared to rifle rounds. (I also pointed out in the subtitles that this was a loaner... lol) I would seriously consider a pistol caliber AR as a competition-only gun. And "beliefs" don't matter when it's just a game... LOL.

  • high point 22?

  • @1IdeaAhead As SuperMegaCyrus correctly guessed, it's a 9mm Beretta CX4. The balance, ergos, and sights pretty much guaranteed I'll never buy one. But being able to shoot a carbine stage so inexpensively got me seriously thinking about building a pistol caliber AR for gaming and competition. Iain's game gun is chambered in 7.62x25 Tokarev, and it shoots like a dream!
