Hans Zender : Schuberts "Winterreise"
A composed interpretation for tenor and small orchestra (1993).
1. Gute Nacht
Hans Peter Blochwitz, Tenor,
Ensemble Modern, Hans Zender, direction.
This is the premiere recording of this stunning piece. Blochwitz's singing may not be as warm as the later version with Christoph Prégardien (also on youtube) but he's no less involved, and combined with the overall more biting playing of the Ensemble Modern the effect is - to my ears - more suitably nightmarish.
2:20 Sounds like Assassin's Creed Soudtrack

OMG!!!!!!!! :O:O:O This processed version it's AMAZING!!! Sounds really interesting and....I love the effects! ♥♥♥ :) But I kinda agree about the description.... Sounds more like a nightmare (especially the last part heheh :P [6:58- 7:24] ) or....even a snowstorm! ;) :)
Anyway....it's really CooL! B-) I love it! :)
