  • Hold Shift when you rotate, and it snaps to 45 deg ang.

  • Suppose I'd better ask how you were using winches to hoist the counterweights and pull back the arm when winches stay taught and don't have any give in them to let the trebuchet work.

Seems more trouble then it's worth.

Hard to make a floating point trebuchet but it's interesting, lot of ways it can go wrong,I made one that works so far and although it throws reasonably far I know it could be a lot better as the arm doesnt move across the supports very far.

  • @SpinDizzyMR Building trebuchets is a skill, building trebuchets in gmod, is an art.

  • @DaleSparrow

I take it that means the winches were just for show?

  • @SpinDizzyMR not at all, they just need to be either beaten into working (trial and error) or slowly coaxed and licked (thinking what the hell they need to work).

  • where did you get the pieces?

    like the arms.

  • PHX 3

But the ooden one, just download the wooden wars spawn list, or type in the search bar: wood.

  • u should probably know this by now but its much easier to build holding E to snap to the smartgrid points

thanks for the tuts btw thumbs up for you !!!

  • How did you put the object upright at 0:52 please tell!

  • you....are.......GAWWWWWWDDDDDD

  • @DaleSparrow

Yeah but once your weights are winched, your winches aren't going to let those weights drop unless you release the winches, which is a lot of fuss.

A slider mechanism seems more attractive to me.

  • How do i get that squares when u weld and use toolguns?
