@DoggieVlogs I'm guessing something is blocking the Black Prophecy client from connecting to the authentication server. Maybe check if your firewall is blocking it?

I've herd bad things about this game. How would you compare this to EVE online?

@lar414 Personally, it's much better than EVE. I dislike EVE myself because it's basically a point and click adventure, you have no manual control over your ship at all.

Black Prophecy is different in that it allows you to have full manual control over your ship. The graphics are just as good as EVE (if not better), and it never hurts to try it, as it is free.

@lar414 Eve is more of a corporate simulation game.... set in space. Sure there is combat. But for the lion's share of the game you're number crunching pie charts, trading goods, stocks, etc. Black Prophecy you play to blow stuff up.
