Elusive messages and outlandish music are among the most favorite fodders of the radio pirates hacking the airwave. This is the first time ever that drama in English has been heard for pirating on 14151.5 KHz( USB ), on the official ham band at 0714 UTC, September 14, 2008.

  • It was a compliment and thanks! Truth was, I did have longer video of that and I was able to make out the content by focusing on a number of essential linguistic parameters. Hands down, it was a very rare pirating session in English and who knows where did it come from as I wasn't able to use any direction detector.

  • OOOOOKay...Glad you could understand that gibberish because we couldn't.

  • Radio Jammers/Hackers always betray their low education and lack of sophistication pretty quickly.

The first clue is the quality of the audio, and the background noise in the signal (not the atmospheric noise or QRM but the ambient background noise picked up on the microphone)...

Any HAM worth his gear would know how to build the harnessing to interconnect the audio source and the transmitter, and monitor the transmitted audio so that it's not overmodulated.
