@mommajacques It's not a sore, it's a 'chestnut', they're just sort of rough lumps that all horses have on their inner legs. If the dog was hurting the horse, believe me the horse would let him know.

The name of the song is "Horse Knee Lickin' Dog." Just FYI

ew. I though that at first he was eating him alive, and the horse didn't care. But I see that it was doing it to cure him.

It's like a living chew toy.

haha looks quite cute, impressive that the horse accepts him so much, and its basicly hard skin isnt it?

Yes, Blitz is very good at trimming all our horses' chestnuts, and some even let him do the back legs :)

I think I'm actually more impressed by how calm the colt is! That's great work you've done there. :-)

@talistur Actually, Blitz "wears down" most of the horses with his persistence. He really likes to clean up the chestnuts, and it doesn't hurt the horses. Many times when the farrier trims the horses' hooves, they will also trim off the chestnuts, as they can get overgrown and unsightly on some horses. Blitz is also good on trail rides, and with other dogs :) Thanks for looking.
