A few people convicted of past crimes are probably not the only people we have to worry about stealing identities. Did any of these people commit crimes while working for acorn? What happened with the idea of paying your debt to society? A person who cannot get a job for any reason will do whatever it takes to survive. If we stigmatize someone and then ostracize them for a past offense then what options are we giving them? At what point can a person then move on with his or her life?

What? Is it a bad idea to give your personal information to convicted identity thieves? Isnt that a good way to enable ex-convicts to get back to work soon after theyre released from prison?
