You don't have to turn a compost pile. I used pallets and let it sit for a couple of years. So far I have 4 bins next to each other and plan on expanding to 6. Of course, if you don't have the room, then you have to explore other options. I used to work hard on turning piles but now I use that time to sit in front of a computer all day.

Very nice, everyone uses large plastic bins but i don't have them and don't want to buy one, This i can make, thanks it is great.

Am using this design to build my own tumbling compost box... Alas, a materials list and instructions on 'how' to build it would have been nice.
