He Shall Be As the Light of the Morning

These words from 2 Samuel 23:4 are the last words of King David of Israel. I wrote the music for these words back in 1973 and have been singing it ever since. It was my daddy's favorite song of mine. There is no way one could improve on these lyrics, for David was "a man after God's own heart." God shines His morning light on the just and the unjust here on earth.
