Thanks a lot for sharing this video - I just got a 3dTV and was looking around for how to test the 3d. You did a great job with this, and your right -no one really is talking about the 3d stuff. It is amazing (I have a 55" in my living room) Have your tried it on Crysis 2 - that may even be better. I have heard that the latest Motorstorm on PS3 might be the best way to show off the technology- sure people have their own opinions though and will say I am wrong.

@kaz210 try a different hdmi, or try a different hdmi input, such as 1 2 or side hdmi input
-
@eam3618 damn idk why it still doesn't work for me :/
-
@kaz210 I have the vizio too, works just fine, with a cheap hdmi
-
@Jeremylb618 Yo I got the same tv lol. It doesn't work for me either. The tv won't let me access 3D mode.

@MadSkillz2468 Same here! I can play Batman Arkham City in 3d no problem. But in Gears 3 and Nba 2k12 I can't access the 3D mode on my tv. All I get is the side by side crap on my screen and no way of getting it to work. I even bought a new hdmi cable that was "3D Ready" and still I get nothing.
Just wondering. Do you need a 3DTV to play this game? Or can you just use your glasses to play the game in 3D?

@TheeDevilWearsPrada You need a 3D TV 100%. The Xbox 360 games use Side by Side 3D tech and basically when you enable 3D in the games menu you will see two exact images in both half's of the screen. In code there are two equal buffers of the final rendered image of the scene. The 3D TV when switched to 3D mode will take these two images and combine them into one image. This is when your 3D glasses kick in and produce a 3D image on your end.

@squaguna Yeah it could be the TV is it HDMI 1.4 or HDMI 1.3, try and go into Gears and just enable the 3D in the video menu and then enable the 3D on your TV. If the two images merge then you should be in business and then just put on your glasses. If your TV is HDMI 1.4 and your amp is not do not go through your amp, connect directly and use optical out for sound to your amp.

@valcanSshacknews mmm i wonder how do i know if my tv is hdmi 1.3 or 1.4... well my tv is 32" JVC LCD flat panel.. i did type down on model number on google and find nothing about hdmi 1.3 or 1.4 but i do have hdmi tho and also i went thru my tv with remote to find 3d, i dont think have it... suggest?

@squaguna HDMI 1.3a and up can support 3D not problem via the cable or the connection. Having said that what is important is that you have a 3D TV. IF you don't have a 3D TV your screwed. HDMI 1.4 is starting to be checked to unlock the 3D features in the PS3 even though its not necessary so this will eventually get you in a bind if you don't have a HDMI 1.4 amp or TV that you can unlock the 3D feature on your consoles.
Good luck, hope its 3D Ready LCD.
