it is extremely sad to say today bob davis has left us and gone to the next world, bob will be missed by all of us not just geelong supporters, world of sport was my favourite sports show in the 80's there's not much like it these days sad to say
Miss AFL Park? It was the only rain gauge in the world with seating for 70,000 people! But yes, it did give you a good perspective of the game, especially if you were in the closer seats.
Gotta luv flashbacks like this one; TV back when it was decent and technology hadnt killed the basic essence of the show. TV worth watching!
And you can actually watch the footy - not like the flashy crap that gets broadcast today.

Yes, there was good perspective at VFL Park, as it was designed especially for the footy.
From what I've learned, the record attendance was 90,935, for Collingwood vs. Hawthorn on Queen's Birthday 1981.
